About Bhop Deep Dip

The Project

Starting back in September 2024, this project was originally organized by Jaio. The project served to act as Portal 2's representation of a project that took the Trackmania community by storm, Deep Dip, which was inspired by the multitude of foddian games that have been released in the last decade.

Like Deep Dip, this is a tower map built by various Portal 2 mappers that is meant to test the skills of its best players. There are 10 floors on Bhop Deep Dip, including a final obstacle. Each floor becomes more and more difficult as you progress. At the time of its release, this map is intended to be the most difficult movement challenge Portal 2 speedrunners have faced to date.

The map combines precise bunnyhopping techniques, advanced Portal 2 movement mechanics, and unforgiving level design to create an experience that will push even the most skilled players to their limits. Every floor presents unique challenges that require mastery of different movement techniques and perfect execution.
